On December 17, 2024 the Council approved the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Contract for the Grace Neal Trunk Sewer Main with Freiday Construction, Inc. The original contract duration was 230 days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP), issued on September 8, 2025. Due to the undetermined delivery date of the Flex-O-Mat material, a 30-day contract extension is requested to allow for project completion without impacting construction quality or sequencing. Staff recommends approval.
The Municipal Court X-ray machine needs to have a preventive maintenance service completed. Costs include the expected repair, parts, calibration, alignment, and cleaning of the unit. The machine was installed in 2018. This will be paid with Court Enhancement Fund monies in the amount of $4,494.80. This was budgeted in the FY2025-26 Adopted Budget and 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan. Staff recommends approval.
The City of Kingman partners with the Mohave County Recorder's Office and the Mohave County Elections Department to conduct our municipal elections. Historically, the City Clerk's Office has requested these services in writing through a letter that was accepted by the County. The County is looking to put a formal agreement in place and has requested that the attached IGA be signed and approved by the Cities. The attached agreement, if approved, would be effective for this election and continue until December 2028, with future extensions available upon mutual agreement of the parties. Staff recommends approval.
